BNYS also termed as Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science. BNYS is 4.5 years undergraduate degree course focussing on naturopathy and the use of yoga in treating bodily ailments. Students must complete 1 year of mandatory internship after completing the 4.5 Year UG course. Naturopathy can also be called an alternative medicine that does not use drugs or medicines to heal or prevent. Thus, it is often non-invasive and also non-prescriptive.
The basic eligibility crietria required to pursue the course include candidates having cleared their class 12 board exams preferably in Science stream with an average aggregate score of 50% and above or equivalent CGPA from a recognized board. Admissions to BNYS courses are done on the basis of merit as well as entrance exams such as NEET UG conducted by the NTA.
